Ben 10 learned to use the watch for years, it was mot instant, couper is the only character with such abilities, unless ben tranformed into an alien with said power.

Mind you Ben10 is human and be alien and back to human again becuase of his watch.
And Aliens from Super 8 can't become human or evenn communicate with humans unless they have touched them
