If I make a sword from anger would the sword itself be angry? And does the same apply if the emotion anger is infused into it?
If I make a sword from anger would the sword itself be angry? And does the same apply if the emotion anger is infused into it?
But I assume it mostly depends on the will of the user on whether they want the sword to feel the anger or just generate it?
Firstly is your sword a construct from anger or the physical manifestation of the concept of anger?
I think if it was a construct of it, it will be an object with Anger Empowerment while if it was the physical manifestation of the concept of anger it will be sentient and the Embodiment of anger.
A good example of the later is Anger from Inside Out movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaJEWGSOD7s
If the sword is the physical manifestation of the concept of anger, the sword will be angry, well it's physical manifestation of anger after all.
No it’s a construct from anger
Then it will be a construct. like a construct from fire or ice or light or darkness. unless it's a physical manifestation of anger it can't feels because it's not a sentient. from what I saw in fiction only the Embodiment of concept is aware/sentient therefore the sword can't feel the anger. I hope that help.
@DeusExMachina thank you, will it still have powers from anger and be able to make the user or others feel angry?
I think so, it will induce anger on others. like fire construct will burn and electricity construct will electrify.
So in other words you are saying that if it is a construct of anger it will generate the emotional energy of anger?
Let me explain, you forge your sword from a concept a non-physical thing, that concept is the anger itself, you hold in your hand a shard of the concept of the anger itself, so yes it can generate emotional energy of anger on the person which got stabbed in it.
But that my personal opinion and the matter at the hand of the writer in the end.
Yeah I forge the sword from the emotion anger that’s what you mean right? Sorry for all the questions
Yes.
What do you think?
