If superman lost a limb could he regenerate it back or not?
If superman lost a limb could he regenerate it back or not?
If someone can remove one of Superman's limbs, we've got a huge problem on our hands.
But I don't think he can. Kryptonians heal faster under the yellow sun, but limb regeneration is outside the scope of just accelerated healing.
Use kryptonite
What @Zatalliya said
@ILikePizzaPies no, @Zatalliya never mentioned kryptonite
@Radmushroom why does that matter?
Superman does have a very good healing factor but not a regeneration factor. That means if he lost a limb he could not regenerate it back.
He was able to heal when Wonder Woman slit his throat with her tiara in Wonder Woman #219. https://imgur.com/a/2R5z98A
In the series Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Superman heals his body after being reduced to near a skeleton by a special nuke that was designed to blot out sunlight and disrupt energy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSvrUBZjkv8
In "Superman/Batman" comic, a kryptonite bullet is slowing down Superman’s cellular regeneration, and Batman is still worried he won’t be able to remove it before the wound closes over. https://i.imgur.com/bgS9mwq.jpg
Superman's body is so durable he doesn't develop regeneration ability to regenerate a lost limps because he never lost a limp, he has never been in a situation where he needs a one. His body wasn't dismembered by the nuke, rather it was left extremely withered for a brief of time, he survived a supernova also, and one time he went to the sun. His body can be injured from powerful beings but no one was able to sever a limb.
@ILikePizzaPies wdym why does it matter? You’re the one that said “what @Zatalliya said”. If nothing was mentioned about kryptonite then it’s not what they said, so the real question is are you an idiot? Because as you can see it’s clearly not “what @Zatalliya said”.
Radmushroom, Ilikepizzapies wasn’t saying that you said the same thing zatalliya said, they were just agreeing with zatalliya.
What do you think?
