As I answered a somewhat similar poll, in video games I like to play characters with ranged attacks. Tho swords are cool, I'll pick enhanced archery for that reason and oh, it's somewhat more beneficial IMO.

Swordsmanship would be better because you could always cut the arrow before it gets to you

You can kill your enemy from afar using arrows
