@Rkv0 incredible, it's twice older than my sister. Whole 11 years... And here I joined it only this year. I've skipped the whole fun and creation but although, I benefit all powers are already there.

@Clara Sirius actually I wish I was there when it was started, when I read the old comments of the original team that created the popular powers and how they interact with each other and the fun they have and I missed make me wish I was there.

Members back then help each other and co-edit new pages and give feedback, and I like the ability to ask the page creator what his power means and what it can do, nowadays no one reply to comments asking for clarification.

The golden era was 2010+

@Rkv0 So true... @DYBAD is probably one of the last such members.

Yeah, it was a very different time, with a very different mood.

We were just bunch of people sharing a passion for superpowers, and it was all about having fun writing and talking about the things we loved. Exploring cool possibilities and giving them form and meaning as well as we could, figuring things out together during "what would happen in X situation" discussions and inspiring each other along the way.

Creativity was a highly prized virtue, cool powers were national treasures, contributing to the collection was the only real requirement, and having fun was the only real objective of the Wiki.

It had its share of flaws and troubles. It wasn't as ordered, well-oiled and regulated as it is now. It didn't have the competent and hard-working team we have either.

But in my humble experience, it was a lot more fun and inspiring.

The wonder is gone now. The Wiki just catalogues certified materials.

I honestly can't see it as anything but a major loss for superpower fans.
