One day, a strange explosion occurs in the upper atmosphere. From it, several rainbow-colored energy beams began to spread throughout the planet and hitting people with their strange energies. Apparently, those affected began to manifest superpowers based on comic book characters and you're lucky enough to become a real Superman.
What does that entail? Well, you gain the following powers...
Superhuman Physical Characteristics: You exhibit superhuman strength, endurance, agility and reaction (Including resistance to most diseases and radiation). To give you context, you're strong enough to lift and chuck cannonballs, knock out a Grizzly Bear with one punch, tear off a full grown man's limbs with relative ease, survive being hit by a speeding truck, bullets and blades bounce on your skin, endure extreme temperatures and even survive in the void of space for up to 48 hours.
Solar Regeneration: By absorbing UV Light, you can heal injuries that would take weeks to heal, in the matter of a few hours. However, you cannot grow back lost limbs and organs. Unlike a plant, UV Light doesn't act as a source of nourishment and you still need to eat and drink like any other person, perhaps even more due to your superhuman body (Basically like a Saiyan).
Heat Vision: By concentrating the absorbed solar energy in your eyes, you can shoot high powered energy beams. These blasts of energy are so powerful that they appear to be able to cut through anything.
Flight: Through self-telekinesis, you can levitate and fly at great speeds, allowing your to cover vast distances really quick.
Language Comprehension: While you don't fully understand a language, you will know what they wish to communicate.
Like Superman, you are weakened by the light of a Red Sun and Jadarite, the closest mineral to ''Kryptonite'' in our world, which will drain your energy the closer you are to it.
How would you use them? Would you be a hero, a villain or something else? What will you do with the other ''Supers''?
Also, here's a strange question... Imagine that when you have children, they'll inherit one of these powers (As well Language Comprehension) and you get to decide which one it is. After that, this power will be passed down like a natural trait in your bloodline. Which one do you choose and why? For example, I would have my kids inherit the power of flight, since who hasn't dreamed of flying when they were kids.
