Hacking of the robot arm is possible but, but the nanites might have a anti virus programmed in it and same with the explosion while that can be very fatal the nanite's ultimate regeneration can regenerate at an atomic level. But your not wrong those are possibilities.

You do realize that to cure the infected arm is to cure superpowers in general, that would include the magic arm as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll go with Magical Arm replacing my left arm and my starting powers would be:

• Ley Line Magic

• Energy Blast

• Magic Detection

• Magic Portal Creation (A spell that only the most skilled wizards can cast)

• Magical Telekinesis (Including Magical Flight)

• Mystical Healing (I cannot resurrect, rejuvenate or extend one's life)

• Curse Negation (Any curse cast towards me, is reflected back to who ever used it)

One day, all the magical energy from my arm will have spread to the rest of my body and then, I'll become the Wizard King. Thoughts?

It magic so all I need to do is make myself immune who knows it could be Almighty magic.
