There are many kinds of power in the world, the supernatural, the magical, the anomalous, the alien, the eldritch, the technological. The world has long been full of many powered beings ranging from good to bad and everything in between. Recently, one of the worlds more malicious super geniuses was fighting against the heroes of the world in yet another attempt at world domination, and was doing well. They had invented a machine that could tap into the collective subconcious of all humanity and draw power from that infinite well. Towards the end of the battle however, their machine that was tapping into that power source for them was badly damaged and exploded sending out ripples of power across the world. In the wake of this confrontation and that genius once again being arrested a number of individuals worldwide have begun to manifest powers seemingly drawn from the dimension of the subconcious, each of them representing a human emotion, concept, drive, etc. You are one of these individuals. Who are you? What will you do?
Rules/Info:
-Each of these newly awakened individuals has a connection to the human subconcious and drains their power from something which resides there. These can be concepts(like death, protection/safety, healing/medicine), emotions(fear, rage, hope, etc think the lanterns), natural human drives such as curiosity or self preservation, or even more esoteric things that exist in the human subconcious, like being a living representation of insomnia, or laughter/humor, or loneliness or hunger, or capitalism, or poverty, etc. Do not take universal concepts like space or time, magic or science, etc, those things are universal forces, not ones that exist in the human subconcious, and while known to humanity do not come from the subconcious.
-also don’t take “victory” or “freedom” or “perfection” or “undefeatability” or any other “haha I win” things for your concept/emotion/etc
-So long as any large amount of humans are alive your powers will exist and the more and more people feel/experience what you are a representative of the more powerful you will become. A person who represented for example Tyranny who managed to conquer the world would become immensely powerful.
-All individuals powered by the subconcious are immune to direct manipulations from others. Such as blood manipulation stopping their heart or mind control, neither will work on fellow supers powered by the subconcious, but telekinesis would still let you blast them with telekinetic force, only direct manipulations are immune.
-Build a power set off of your concept/emotion/etc but make sure the powers in your power set fit your concept/emotion/etc. some things are universally okay, like supernatural condition
-You may take any powers/physiologies except Omni, absolute, almighty, ascendance, ascendant, adaptive, transcendence, transcendent, meta, perfection, unlosability defiance, Arsenal, lord, embodiment(you don’t embody it just draw power from it), derivation, or any power/ability replication/absorption/learning/intuition/mastering/transcendence/manipulation/creation/destruction, or any growth/upgrading/improvement/development type abilities. No nigh-omnipotent/omnipotent level abilities like high-tier reality warping, chaos magic, etc
-As you draw power from the subconcious perception of your concept/emotion/etc you will be influenced by it. Drawing power from hope will make you hopeful, drawing power from death will make you know and understand death very well, especially how inevitable it is, expect depression.
