@CodeX13579 Right, Grass typically grows directly from the soil while leaves are budded from trees, wooded structures that middle process that process h20 from the roots. Grass has roots as well that process h20 from the base upward but has no middle structure to process nutrients; both utilize photosynthesis, however.
