Heaven and Hell are empty. A long time ago before modern civilization the Angels and Demons fought an endless war for dominance over all creation. The hosts of heaven and hordes of hell were both virtually limitless, and with Earth as their battlefield they tore the world asunder. God, the Supreme Being, the Alpha and Omega merely watched, until one day they went too far. God had told the Angels and Demons they may war, so long as they did not disrupt the development of the planet. But one day a great battle of theirs destroyed what we call the dinosaurs. God knew it may happen, he knew all things that may happen, but he hoped they would chose not to go down that path with their free will. They did not. In punishment for their actions God banished both Angels and Demons from Heaven and Hell. And barred from the domains in which their essences could reform when slain they died, their essences remaining on the Earth, floating, mindless and formless. God took their spirits and placed them in a cave, unable to leave, as the world grew around them.
Now, In the year 2025, a group of students and councilors at a summer camp accidentally discovered the Cave of Souls. Each becoming the avatar of one of the Archangels, Archdevils, Seven Deadly Sins or Seven Heavenly Virtues. In the years since the world has been torn asunder. Human civilization split into two warring factions as they were forced to choose between sides of the angels and the demons, the war now rages once again. In this war occasionally one is found who holds an affinity for the soul of an angel or demon, many of them are still formless, searching for a host. You have been found to have an affinity with an angel or a demon. So, what will you do?
Rules/Info:
-Lucifer, the Archangels, The Archdevils, the Seven Sins and Seven Virtues, the greatest powers in this war, already found hosts.
-Each angel and demon carries a unique power/ability, select one power/ability to be your unique power/ability.
-Angelic and Demonic power is not inherent to them but instead based on their position and rank. Any angel or demon of any rank can distinguish themselves in battle or in any way and be promoted, gaining an appropriate power boost. Distinguish yourself and your powers will grow.
-Every angel possesses Enhanced Condition, Semi-Immortality, Angel Physiology, Wing Manifestation, Halo Manifestation, Angelic Magic, Miracle Performing(level of miracles grows with promotion), and Healing, as well as all other generally angelic powers/abilities
-Every Demon possesses Enhanced Conditon, Semi-Immortality, Demon Physiology, Hellfire Manipulation, Demonic Magic, Contract Bestowal(what they can grant with contracts grows with promotion), and all other generally demonic abilities.
-All abilities of any angel or Demon grows as they get promoted, getting exponentially stronger as their rank increases.
-The Archangels and Archdemons only can promote angels or demons, and only do so when another angel or demon dies who is of that rank as they are limited to a certain amount of individuals of any rank by the nature of Angels and Demons.
-There is one other way for Angels and Demons to grow respectively.
-Angels grow the more faith and worship they have, the more humans who believe not in the angels in general but in them specifically, they grow in power.
-Demons grow in power by collecting souls, specifically by making contracts for those souls. All contracts must be signed by the mortal in their own blood and under the affect of no supernatural abilities, they must sign of their own unaltered free will or by the decree of God the contract is nullified.
-Your Unique power/ability may be anything except for omni, absolute, almighty, transcendent, transcendence, meta, perfection, Arsenal, defiance, adaptation, negation, infinium, path to victory, power/ability creation/destruction/replication/learning/absorption/transcendence/mastering/manipulation or similar or any growth/development/improvement/upgrading/augmenting/probability/possibility/consumption/assimilation abilities. No fiction travel or similar and no omnipotent/nigh-omnipotent types, variations, etc or other similar tier abilities.
