OKAY! How long have you been sitting here waiting?! Didn't they want to recruit you?! Why're they keeping you waiting?!

*The door finally opens after maybe half an hour, letting in a streak of light across the room as a tall man walks in. He's wiry but well built and scarred, dressed in all military camo, not someone to screw around with you think...right up until he cracks the most sh*t eating grin you've ever seen as he sits down on the chair backwards and stares you dead in the eyes as he speaks in a deep southern accent*
"Well well well, just look at you. The spitting image of a new Reckoner aren't you just. I'd say so, bloody hell I'd bet the scots invention of the potato peeler on it, you're gonna accept the job."
Two thoughts cross your mind. Firstly...you're fairly sure the Scots didn't invent the potato peeler. Second, you have no idea what offer he's even talking about. Right as you're thinking this a voice rings out through an unseen intercom, male, French.
"Cody you idiot! You haven't offered anything yet! They can't accept a job offer they haven't been given!"
The man in camo, Cody, clicks his tongue as he makes a rude gesture in the air directed towards the voice before he turns back to you
"Sorry 'bout that. So here's the gist since I don't think you want the full spiel. We're the Reckoners, yes yes I know, those Reckoners, before you ask. Yes. Yes, I am famous. Stay seated, please! The autographs can come later!"
He laughs loudly to himself as you sit there, a bit dumbfounded... this guy is a Reckoner?!
"Any-who, the Reckoners are recruiting my friend, and you're on our list of potential recruits. With all your skills, or powers, to be honest I didn't read your file, so I have no clue if you're an Epic or not, you are quite suited for helping us take the fight to the evil Epics and other loonies the world over. So...want the job?"
