The majority of people That have been in this wiki community for an extended period of time feel everything has been done and the same creative flame they had has dwindled to a creative spark, next to nothing and then to nothing.
I feel the same way. a friend said the solution is to, and I quote, “exploring past your comfort zone”.
We need to find what we haven’t done instead of focusing on what someone else has done. Everyone has a different perspective and paradigm on things, and that means we will all deliver certain tropes and concepts that have been used in one’s own creative head space differently.
We all control our own narratives and therefore we can do what we want. For example, A wand is a worn out trope, but it can be interesting if we put our own unique spin on things, what if a wand means something completely different from our real world definition?, and it can be anything. A shoelace, a pants pocket, anything you can imagine.
We don’t need to try and be unique in our approach, our perspectives are uniquely ours and that’s what makes our perceptions naturally unique.
One person can see themselves as a pimple on someone’s back, one can see themselves as a 7’0 purple monster. Use Your Perceptions To Your Advantage.
