"Did you thought that I was going to kill you? No! I'm here to save the villains as well, from the terrible darkness that are within them. Afterall, I am a hero! I need to save everyone!"
Thomas Ferrari Braga, aka Starbooster, is a superhero and the brazilian member of the World Security League, as well the main protagonist of the World Security League spin-off of Cronikus.

Appearance
Tom is a young adult, he has considerably average-to-great light brown hair (and of messy texture), brown eyes and light brown skin. His physical appearance is of a skinny one, but with defined muscles.
His superhero costume consists of a green outfit with a yellow part on the chest (with a green star in the center), yellow belt, yellow boots and a blue cape. For the sake of reference, his outfit and appearance is kinda like that.
Personality
Tom is a honest, kind, determined, selfless, hopeful, fair and an overall good guy. He is one of the most, if not the most, kindest person in the world, which makes him the greatest superhero (in morality and personality), and also one of the most powerful as well. He is completely against murder, so he never killed any enemy. And also, he always think before doing any action, always thinking in the civilians when fights, the possible collateral damage, safety, and much more.
Tom's main goal is inspire, teach and give hope to the others, including villains and criminals, where he says that they may have a motive on what they are doing, so he always try to sympathize with the said villains. If this point of view be proven wrong, he will not kill them, but will not be as benevolent as he normally is with them.
He is truly an example for everyone on the world, both for other heroes, but for every citizen and person as well.
Biography
Before receiving his superpowers, Tom was a humble boy. He lived with his parents on a simple house in the suburban area of the city, but, sometime, his older brother, Vinicius, was involved in a crime and unfortunately ended up being shot and died, which leaved Tom traumatized, and since then, against criminals and violence. But, he couldn't do anything important, so for a long time, he was a quiet and introvert person.
But one day, Tom gained his powers due to cosmic radiation emitted by a piece of a device that came from a planet called Radon (that the TGZs brought from space and left in a garbage dump). When Tom was going to another day of class at college, he walked down the street from the house where the garbage dump was, but then, the piece fell and Tom accidentally stepped on, and took his hand to see what it was, where initially, he thought that it was no big deal. Initially nothing happened, but in some days, when he went to the dentist and was taking the x-ray exam part, the radiography activated the composition of the cosmic radiation and accidentally charged it, where it began to generate particles that alter the biology of beings.
After the dentist, Tom realized that he was weird. He could see through the walls, could walk faster, he had a lot of physical strength and couldn't feel any pain.
When one day he went to an event where the TGZs were giving a lect, he felt a mental disturbancen in his head saying that he was supposed to stay there after the event was over. Afraid, he continued in the event and Ryan (Hyper) noticed the guy who continued sitting in one of the chairs and decided to talk with him. Before getting close to Tom, Ryan realized that the young man had superpowers and had a serious conversation with him, saying things like becoming a superhero, hiding his identity (if he wanted to) and being a good person to others, because he could feel that Tom's powers could potentially be great. Moved by the words of one of the first superheroes in the world, Tom decides to become one too, adopting the name "Starbooster". He notices all the bad things that happens in the world, gets sad about it, and decides to become a hero who honors justice, peace and that inspires hope.
With the sudden appearance of radonian DNA on planet Earth, a radonian geneticist named Allen acknowledged Tom's existence, and personally went to the planet to meet this strange "radonian" individual.
When he arrived on the planet, Allen realized that Tom is a great hearted person, and moved, realized the abominations his empire was making, and then rebelled (without contacting anyone else), took canadian citizenship, adopted the human name Alexander Lane, and now serves as a mentor of Tom, making him a more elaborate costume that supports his powers, and also taught him radonian combat tactics.
Then, Tom has been contacted by the UN to join the World Security League, which he accepted and is now one of the 10 members of the team, as well as being its brazilian representative. Thus, fighting crime legally with acknowledgement, and also helping the TGZ and other heroes to fight cosmic threats when necessary.
Powers and Abilities
Superhuman Physiology: After being contaminated by alien DNA (a radonian one) Tom realized that all of his attributes were much better than before. His radonian source of power gave his cells the capacity of manipulate cosmic energy, augmenting the physical attributes, give the ability of manipulate his own gravitational field (thus flying), enhancing the senses and perception, and be able to generate cosmic energy.
Superhuman Strength: Tom is without a doubt one of the strongest beings on Earth. He is able to lift many tons without worry, being able to perform various impressive feats, such as: destroy an entire building with just one punch, lift a cruise ship effortlessly, harm in a certain level Jack (a homeronitan, a species that is known for their great durability), hold his own in a prologed fight, destroy a meteor on its way to Earth, and many more. It is said that he has a strength between 120-200 thousand tons, but it can vary depending on how much cosmic energy he has absorbed. It is said that his strenght match the likes of Captain Molecular, who has lots of notable feats, as well as being equally skillled as various experient radonians, who are known to be a species that are godly strong and combative skillful.
Superhuman Speed: Tom, whether running or flying, is extremely fast, being able to fly at a relativistic speed (sometimes even FTL), like running on a race track in 0.000007 seconds, to even going to Mars and back to Earth in 0.1 second. He is so fast that, in his perception, he can spend 1 day in just 2 seconds of slow motion. He is able to overtake, match and/or dodge anything at a speed slower and sometimes equal to his own. At maximum speed, he is able to significantly transcend the speed of light, dodging and overpowering nearly anything with his pure speed.
Superhuman Reflexes: Tom has tremendous reaction speed, allowing him to dodge bullets, also catch flies in the air, dodge complex attacks, can pick up falling objects, block damage and instantly react to attacks.
Superhuman Stamina: He has excellent physical energy compared to humans, being able to fight for a long time without getting tired and able to go without sleep for about 2 months.
Superhuman Agility: He is tremendously more agile than normal humans, and also, having radonian powers, is one of the most agile beings in the universe.
Invulnerability: Tom is immune to almost all forms of physical damage, unable to feel physical pain, immune to bleeding or loss of limb. Any and all forms of physical damage are no match for destroying him, thus being immune to various things, such as heat, cold, radiation, etc. His invulnerability allows him to survive in space without worries, and can only be hurt by beings of similar power. Has tanked several punches and attacks from Jack the Homeronitan, although most of them were fatal. He stated that he could be thrown into the core of a star and survive for 1 entire week, showing that he has immunity to cosmic radiations and the like.
Self-Sustenance: By his body and cosmic energy absorptions, Tom doesn't need to eat, breath, sleep, or else, to survive, since his physiology makes him virtually self-sustainable.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Although Tom is essentially invulnerable, beings of similar or superior power can still harm him. But, by absorbing cosmic energy, he can increase his healing factor exponentially, allowing him regenerate fatal injuries, lost limbs, etc, increasing the rate to even further levels depending on how much energy he has absorbed.
Flight: Tom is able to float and fly at very high-speeds, defying the forces of gravity and be able to fly. This ranges from hovering to moving in any posture, in any direction, at any speed. He can also levitate in a position.
Cosmic Energy Manipulation: Because of his radonian-like physiology, Tom is able to control, project and absorb cosmic energy, causing his body to behave like an “energy reactor”. He absorbs energy to become stronger, faster, more durable, etc, as well being able to project energy from the body. Each cell of his body has a supernatural core (adjacent to the normal one) that controls cosmic energy; being able to absorb them from the individual's surroudings and giving him the already mentioned supernatural capabilities, as well as increasing them.
Heat Vision: Tom is able to release/generate huge bursts of heat with his eyes, which can be used to burn, heat, melt or solder his targets. He can also turn it into incineration, which is a very similar power. This power has an appearance through a red beam. Unlike the overall radonian species, Tom can only project cosmic energy from his eyes, due to a “genetic failure”, thus because of his completely human origin (not being a hybrid or the like).
Cosmic Energy Absorption: Tom can absorb cosmic energy, and he becomes more powerful when he does it.
Superhuman Lung Capacity: Tom has enormous lung capacity and/or the ability to use oxygen very effectively, allowing him to maintain his breath for extended periods of time while remaining active. With this power, he can stay in space for a long time without worry, as a single little breath in Earth can stay on his body for 2 months withouth breathing.
Freezing Breath: Tom can release very strong winds through the mouth, which can be used to freeze a target or keep them away from something.
Superhuman Senses: Tom' sense of sight, taste, hearing, touch, and smell are glaringly, obviously and supernaturally more acute than a conventional human's. He can see thousands of miles away with immense resolution and see/track things too fast for the natural eye, hear through dense walls perfectly and listen to the smallest vibrations/noises from extremely far away places even in deep space, smell anything over vast distances up to and including individual molecules/atoms, taste the smallest details to the extent of distinguishing at a molecular level, and feel the slightest vibration in the air, ground and water. Having a great control over this ability, Tom also developed an extrasensory type of perception that is supernaturally accurate, making him able to unlock a type of sense who is metaphysical, sensing things in the fabric of reality, space-time, etc.
Superhuman Hearing: His hearing instruments are capable of capturing sound with much greater efficiency than human hearing, making possible to hear sounds that are extremely distant or inaudible to ordinary people without any external means of hearing amplification.
Superhuman Vision: He has a sense of sight that is supernaturally sharper than most humans, because his abilities are taken to a superhuman level. Allowing him to see miles away, see in the dark, see the faintest of distinctions, and track things too fast for the normal eye.
X-Ray Vision: Tone's eyes emit a frequency of rays that produces a transparency effect (ie, X-rays) for viewing through or into solid objects.
Telescopic Vision: Tom can enlarge their vision, allowing them to see distant objects at an increased scale. It can even see from great distances, such as outside the atmosphere and other planets.
Thermal Vision: Tom can see the temperature of people and animals, sometimes even the environment or objects.
Microscopic Vision: Tom is able to see items that are normally too small to be seen clearly with the naked eye.
Superhuman Perception: Tom's mind and senses process information at incredible speeds, which makes seem like time has slowed down, allowing him to perceive what would normally be too quick to see and respond accordingly. This is the only superpower that Tom developed by his own (because radonians don't possess this ability), his senses, plus reflexes, developed into a supernatural type of perception where he can sense dangers before they occur.
Danger Intuition: Precognitively, Tom senses in his body varied signals that may indicate danger in the vicinity. These signals can be used to avoid perceived danger, such as avoiding enemy attacks.
Abilities
Master Combatant: At his first days as a superhero, he learned some basic combat skills to better deal with his newfound powers. When Allen, his radonian mentor, went to Earth to find about the strange radonian individual who appeared in the planet (without knowing was actually just a human with their DNA), he decided to teach Tom some radonian fighting abilities (as radonians are all great combatants in various senses). After being recruited by the UN to join the WSL, he went into more several and intense trainings, better improving all of his skills and powers to great levels (for example, at the beginning of his career, he only could lift a military tank with great effort, and after that, it was extremely easy and effortlessly).
Intomitable Will: Tom has great will, as shown when he was being beaten to death by Jack the Homeronitan, and yet, was showing very little sign of pain/discomfort by the attacks, staying still and councious even in a near-death state.
Weaknesses
He is vulnerable to certain specific wavelengths of varying radiation (but it's unknown at which point).
Magic and Psionics at an extremely powerful level can greatly injure him.
Trivia
Tom is a great homage of Superman (DC Comics). Every power, abilities, personality and costume is a homage for him.
Also, despite being primarily a homage for Superman, he is also shown to be similar to Superboy (DC Comics) and Invincible (Image Comics).
Originally, Tom was supposed to be more anti-heroic, violent and sociopathic (much like some Superman's pastiches, like Homelander [The Boys], Omni-Man [Invincible], etc), but I decided to make a true homage for the greatest superhero on fiction, so Tom is now one of the most heroic characters in Cronikus.
His ultimate form, Supreme Cosmos, is a form where Tom absorbs an absurd amount of cosmic energy, and here not only all of his powers are greatly enhanced, but also that he can affect non-physical and dimensional targets (hitting them no matter what), and also be able to control anything that has cosmic energy (such as astronomical objects). This form, however, can be only used for 5 minutes at max, since his body cannot endure so much cosmic energy.
His Supernatural Perception is inspired on Spider-Man's Spider Sense (Marvel Comics), only with some more things.
He's the kind of guy who's slow about romance. Someone can make a lot of signs that they like him (like the Southern Sorceress, who has a crush on him), and he won't notice.
Tom uses his brother's death as a motivaton to be always a good person and never going through the path of darkness.
His favorite hobby is reading books.
His favorite food is pastel (basially a brazilian fried pastry).
