Here's one for DC
Name: Jeromeo Blotch
Alias: Splatter, Colouric, Art. Man/Kid
Alignment: Neutral Good
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Homosexual
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Appearance:
Personality: A rather jovial but troubled person deep down, Jeromeo tends to hide how he truly feels and instead acts another way so others don’t try to know his true feelings. He is a caring and genuine person however, doing what he can to help others and puts anyone else’s desires before his own. Notably, he can be incredibly secretive at times, but Jeromeo doesn’t actively try to lie about things, only wanting to keep certain things private if he isn’t sure how others react. With this said, Jeromeo can be insecure about things, whether it’s his form and powers, background, or what troubles him, he feels that it isn’t necessary to try and involve others in his own life due to not wanting to cause trouble to others.
Species: Human(Formerly)
Artificial Entity(Currently)
Age: 17 Years
Occupation: Student(Formerly), Crime Fighter(Currently)
Weapon/Paraphernalia:
– Artificial Element Physiology- Jeromeo’s form is a result of using a unique and almost supernatural material shaped by the element it also contains; that being composed of an oil-like paint composition carrying traits of plasticine that has fused into his entire system. The complexity of the elements is however controlled and manipulated via Jeromeo himself, and despite having a body much different than any organic being, can allow for certain things to be achieved such as still being able to see, hear, and even speak, but other senses such as smell, touch, and taste being unusable. There are other unique capabilities that he can utilize thanks to his new physiology however.
Powers/Abilities:
Artificial Element Manipulation(Akin to Paint)- After the mishap that gave him his new form, Jeromeo has the power to manipulate colored artificial mediums such as paint and generate it from himself at will. Being a highly amorphous entity due to the composition of the material, Jeromeo can shapeshift into other forms such as liquids or even solids(with a property akin to plastic or rubber), and even manipulate the color of his design, or even others. This ability to manipulate artificial mediums isn’t exclusive to touch but even through remote control akin to telekinetic movement.
Color Manipulation- Uniquely, the viscous artificial element has the unique ability to interact with the color around it, and therefore Jeromeo can use his paint-like abilities to change and control the color of anything; such examples include making a house entirely green, camouflaging, turn things invisible(including himself) and even affect saturation.
Clay/Plasticine Manipulation- His form and its ability to manipulate the color of objects even allows him to control clay materials as his artificial physiology is akin to it.
Techniques- Abilities of Jiromeo that he can utilize.
Scattering- Can split himself into “blotches”, and due to this he’s impervious to damage like blunt force strikes, slicing, or stabbing.
Elasticity- Due to the properties of the element he’s composed of, Jeromeo can choose to make his form more malleable or “stretchy” as to be more solid-like. As such, he can make himself much more durable or even enhance the striking power of attacks, or rubbery to jump higher.
Artistic Animation(Somewhat)- Manipulating the color and paint to bring out objects drawn, painted, and illustrated into “life”, although they’re instead constructs of paint and the properties of it. Really, Jeromeo is simply making illustrations made of colored material such as paint or oil and bringing them out as constructs made of paint, so while they look like characters, they don’t gain other supernatural abilities, but he can still control whatever he brings out.
Picture Jumping- By being able to interact with color and illustrations, Jeromeo can seemingly merge into pictures or 2-dimensional illustrations, and travel to other pictures like paintings, drawings, even photographs(but not anything digital or videos).
Adhesion- Because paint and oil can be surprisingly adhesive substances, Jeromeo can make his physiology stick onto surfaces and objects, being able to cling objects together with his paint or ensnare them easier. He could even climb onto surfaces due to this.
Paint Attacks- When throwing pieces of himself that are not meant to do harm, but rather stick to beings and objects, also allowing him to add adhesiveness or travel from one destination to another. Some paint attacks can do some damage however, as they can be shaped into blunt tipped projectiles to use, or even sharp tipped constructs like pin needles.
Artistic Intuition- Before becoming what he is now, Jeromeo has knowledge on arts and crafts, including the study of it. This is what allowed him to utilize many creative abilities as a result of his powers.
Weaknesses:
Jeromeo gains no highly enhanced physical abilities aside from his elastic properties. As such, even though he is impervious to physical harm, it’s not exactly difficult to actually affect him with attacks.
His shapeshifting has drawbacks in and of itself: because he’s made of paint means he has a notable odor and so can’t make lasting disguises until being caught(situational however), his paint’s physical properties due to being rubbery-like makes any bladed attack useless and relies mostly on blunt force(or sharpened ends at least), and even though he can mimic the appearances of others, he can’t mimic voices.
To some extent, Jeromeo can only produce a finite limit of paint(or the artificial element) for so long until he has to use parts of his form. He normally has to use other artificial elements to refuel.
Vulnerable to sudden extreme temperatures(not prolonged exposure to certain temperatures however).
He can’t smell, touch, or taste, and even the senses he does retain are not too well developed.
Backstory: From the city of New York, Jeromeo Blotch was a normal kid who’d been bullied most of his life and didn’t understand how to directly fit in with others. Being socially isolated even by his parents, Jeromeo’s life was nothing short of mediocrity and self depreciation. During a time when his class went on a field trip to a factory regarding the study of artificial elements, Jeromeo ended up getting punked yet again and was secretly forced to douse into a vat of chemicals. If things weren’t bad enough, this vat was then put into a cycle where extra artificial elements were poured in and converted, and later mixed in while Jeromeo was still inside, until the young boy had his body molecularly broken down and converted into the substance. Now considered deceased when the ones who bullied him were caught, Jeromeo was gone…until something strange happened hours later. When the substance was getting rid of due to the contaminants, it eventually underwent a process where the substance of artificial elements combined and merged into a strange, amorphous being, one that retained the thoughts and feelings of Jeromeo, but with utter confusion into what he’d become now. While he wanted to seek revenge for the ones that wronged him, it was the revelation that others did in fact cared for him when he saw others he knew mourn over his assumed passing that changed his mind. Now unsure if he could ever really return to his normal life, Jeromeo makes it a goal of his to go out and fight crime as the entity called Art. Man…or Splatter, or Art. Kid if being honest.
Extra Info:
Jeromeo is 5’9” and weighs 140 lbs normally.

The "Art." in his alias is the shortened word for Artificial.
