Extraterrestrial are off world, in settings where each world has their own variety of energy or stuff

Extradimensional on the other hand are from other dimensions

If we’re basing Eldritch energy off the Marvel, then in Doctor Strange it’ll tell you that the sorcerers draw Eldritch energy from other dimensions creating spells for weapons, shields and other things. Now these beings can be extraterrestrial in nature, but they can still be from other dimensions; for example Pandorym. It even says that it’s a “Combination of Extradimensional Energy Manipulation and Extraterrestrial Energy Manipulation.”
