Each individual user is unique, and therefore their level of adaptation is unique. Additionally, adaptation is dependant on environment, which changes according to the perspective universe.

That's not how self-adaption works tho, just look at the power, I linked it in the category tab thing.

I admit i misunderstood the power a little, but the point still stands. According to the post, the user needs face something and then desire to adapt to it. That means that every potential user of this ability will come out with a massive variety of very different abilities, since they will face very different scenarios because they are unique individuals.

The way I see the power is that they don't even have to be in a situation to adapt, they just need to think about a possible situation, then manipulate their existence to adapt to it without it even needing to be real or possible. it's also reactive, so they won't be caught unaware.

I tried to find any indication of that, and it doesnt seem to be so. It seems to be that a self adaptation user is able to actively choose what and how they wish to adapt and grow in any given situation.

Side note, When something is reactive, that means that it will only act to stimuli. For example, you instinctively hold your breath under water. The word you are thinking of is passive, which reacts even if the user is unaware. An example of that would be that a fish is always able to breathe under water

I'm just kind of using logic here, since it's a manipulation power, it might just need some training to do. it doesn't say passive, it says reactive.
