Really with stage magic you could handle your opponents, and those who aren't involved in the actual show would be relegated to the audience.

As for the exact extent this power can go, it depends on how strong the user is.

A gunshot may fail to kill the user if the user simply makes it a show prop, making themself basically immortal because everything done to them would be turned into stage props.

And they can use this on only themselves, leaving their opponents as vulnerable as usual.

And if the user wishes to go all out, they can even use Deus Ex Machina, Gods from the machines, a very popular troupe seen in Drama and Stage Plays. Allowing the user to pull off miracles (with no explanation) just to save the plot.

Gods from the machines, wouldn't be right to say Machine Gods?

Also personal stage is a thing, if they can achieve it. Then uh yes pretty much how you described it

I don't mean the person would have author authority😅. I meant the person would be able to use Deus ex machina. It was explained in the author authority page. That was why i mentioned author authority 😅. You can check the author authority page to see what Deux Ex Machina meant...God out of the Machines.

Unfortunately, the capabilities of Stage Magic isn't shown to reach that high🤧

Since not many really bothers to develop it's potential, usually it's up to the writers to further expand the idea

Practically there is a magic for anything, tables or up to some really specific magic

The pinnacle of stage magic is personal stage via magic, A god on stage. Everyone, everything is but a character and a set to be used for the stage.
