You live in a world that had been struck by a series of meteors that a strange color crystal across the world the crystal was dubbed ascension stone as any one who came near the crystal gained superpowers what kinds of powers the human would get was decided by two fact their personality/desires and what kind location they were in for example: if you came into contact with an ascension stone in a natural history museum and you desire to be strong or were courageous and powerful you would gain the power to become a mutated T. rex or triceratop at will or become a mutated mosasaurus if you had dreams of being or were a great swimmer if you had came in contact with one in a church and you were a sadist you would gain a flaming demonic tail or psionic horns that induce fear in any one who looks at you or if you a good person you gain wings made out of water or manifest a glowing light ring that heals people or increase their strength or if you wanted to feel protected while on a fishing boat you would gain crustacean like dermal armor) people who have gain powers are elites when an elite gains their they start off not being able to control their powers like your power is turn into a mutated animal you start off transforming into a feral one or your power is acidic combustion breath and acidic explosions constantly emit from your mouth this is called the surge the surge normally stops happening after a few days or a week at most and you start to gain control of your power but the government of your world has invented special pistols that can knock elites out of their surge after a few shots some elites have been hired and trained to become government sponsored law super heroes that help out with law enforcement rescue and helping knock elites out their surge they work under a new branch of the government known as gigapol
