The false equivalency is real. Getting stabbed means you didnt observe the observable. We cant see time but we know it exists because we can see the effect it has on life and death. Growth and decay both happen with time, how do we know? Because things either grow, or decay. A rock is matter and yes, it is subject to time but the real question is… would you rather be able have control of life and death, or space and time. Would you rather make the characters in the show, or fast forward, pause, and rewind it. Id rather make the characters

To answer your question, time is and always will exist. The whole concept of "needing an observer" is kinda just nuts in itself, since you don't need to "observe" something to be assured it exists/it happened.

Biggest thought experiment pointing to that whole idea is actually Schroedinger's Cat. The purpose of that thought experiment was to illustrate just how absurd the idea of an "observer" needing to be present is, since we already know what happens inside the box, without needing to confirm/observe it by opening the box.

Fact of the matter is that life (humans, specifically) have only Defined both space in time. We give them measurements so that we can understand that. But even if all life were blipped out of existence right now, there would be no doubt that the earth would remain in a predictable orbit around the sun, and that this orbit will remain qithin a predictable time period.

I said it dont matter in the scope of the original question why even keep goin? I never said time doesnt exist without people. I said who cares about time if theres no life. I’d have to care fr to be defensive. And the experiment behind shrödingers cat was that, inside of the box ANYTHING could be possible because you cant observe it. It literally put the cat in a state of Life/Death and the only way the experiment concluded was with him looking in the box 😂😂😂😂 I just wrote my thesis on shrödingers cat so im glad you brought it up cool convo tho
