Depending on the type of slime, they could be basically unkillable, just look at rimuru, no core/heart, no blood, no brain, and no need for anything outside of magicules, with every cell of his being a supercell that has all the functions a living being needs(outside of eyesight), he can even rapidly regenerate all parts of his body.
