Having some slaves is always nice I dont see the problem create some beasts if they follow your every command you have slaves which is nice even if sentient who cares you are basically their creator if you created them so there is nothing wrong with you owning them

I gotta admit that it's not as black and white as I'd make it. One can be limited in one aspect, yet free in another. Humans all have free will, and yet many are "enslaved" to various things

I just feel in this instance, if you create something to do something, and then mess with it's mind to think it WANTS to do it, that's worse than just having it exist for that purpose to begin with. An entity will likely already want to fulfill their purpose solely for the merit of the fact that they exist for that purpose, and their creator wishes it. You don't need to control it.

@Doodlewuzhere91 I gotta disagree if you make an entity for a specific purpose and later on change its purpose what is the problem it's like make a computer program and then later on changing it's code this changing it's purpose it's not inherently evil

Which comment are you disagreeing with exactly? I don't disagree with you. Entities can (and should) be made with a purpose. However, forcing them to want to, implying mental manipulation, is abbhorent, as it denies free will
