———Backstory———
Created in year 1364, Unit-s34 was left {Blank} until a few months later. His biological makeup was very similar to that of the dying King, and so he was chosen to take over for him until his heir was of age.
Before the musicians could fully complete his instructions, the Kingdom of Dunning was attacked, and Unit-s34, as well as the 6 other {Active}[ S-Humans ] were sent away, and the other 39 {Blank}[ S-Humans ] were hidden. For about 600 years, Unit-s34 was in a stasis like state, until eventually waking up.
As time passed, Unit-s34 slowly began to gain a sort of sapience. This sapience was the last gift the musicians were able to give him. He grew and learned, taking various jobs around the world, eventually finding his way to the Kingdom of Valecky.
Once there, he met the Princess Delilah, and the two began to talk. After having spoken for sometime, Delilah gave Unit-s34 a real name, a proper name. She named him Fredrick, after the great Hero King Fredrick Dunning.
As time went on, the two grew closer and closer, until they couldn’t take it anymore. Delilah begged her Father to allow her to marry him. Not one to deny someone the chance to prove themself, Alphonse asked to meet Fredrick. Noticing his sincerity and love for his Daughter, Alphonse approved of the marriage, and the two were married the next day.
Now a Prince of Valecky, Fredrick devoted himself fully to the kingdom, the people, and most of all, his wife Delilah. After many years, Delilah’s parents, Alphonse and Rebecca passed away, and she took the throne. Fredrick renewed his oath to her and serves now as her Prince, but also as her knight, stopping any harm from reaching her.

The castle was quiet as Fredrick walked about on his nightly patrol. He had gotten into the habit quite early on in his marriage, almost on instinct. He rarely saw or heard anything about of note, maybe the occasional rat that scurried about. Even still he was diligent in disposing of them properly, as well as disinfecting himself and anything the rodents would touch. He would then isolate for about a week, just in case. He loved his wife far too much to risk her safety to anything.
This night however he heard nothing… not nothing in the sense of the typical sort, like servants preparing for the next morning, or the flickering of lantern light. No, he heard nothing at all, no sound to speak of.
Fredrick readied himself, knowing that this silence was unnatural. He stalked about, making his way towards his beloved. He didn’t want to warp to their room, thinking that he could potentially miss her, instead focusing on running.
Before he made it up stairs however, he soon found the intruder. He went in for an attack immediately, drawing his blade and swinging at the would be assassins neck. Maybe because this intruder could hear him, however, Fredrick’s blade met air.
Fredrick could see the intruders mouth move, positive he was speaking, but unable to tell what he was saying. He called out to the intruder, unsure if his voice would be heard.
“What are you doing here musician? What do you want with this place?” The intruder cocked his head to the side, then smiled slightly before speaking again. His trick having been caught, he lowered the silence, allowing Fredrick to hear him.
“My name is Derus, and for what I want… well, right now, I want to kill you.” The intruder bowed slightly before beginning to rush at Fredrick.
Taking note of the attackers physique, Fredrick could tell at a glance that he was an elf. Too tall to be a human, but too short to be a nihilosol.
As Derus lunged towards Fredrick, he swiftly maneuvered his sword to parry the daggers. Derus stepped back as he let go of his twin blades. Watching closely, Fredrick couldn’t see any hidden weapons, so he sheathed his own sword.
Derus watched in confusion. ‘Why would he do that…’ he thought to himself, feeling slight intimidation. ‘It matters not I suppose… just a self-imposed restriction…’ He continued as Fredrick dropped his sword belt to the ground.
“I suppose I should thank you for having the self-control not to attack me as I disarm myself.”
Fredrick said. Derus quickly responded, “One doesn’t interrupt an opponent when they’re making a mistake…”
Fredrick chuckled slightly at this. “We’ll see if you can keep your confidence…” He replied before rushing towards his enemy. He jumped, swinging his leg down towards Derus. Derus was able to bring his arms up in time to lessen the impact significantly, but he slid away nonetheless, a dull pain left in his forearms.
Wincing, Derus went in, wanting to return the favor. He attempted the same kick, however Fredrick was faster to the reply, dodging downwards and grabbing his leg with his left hand. He threw him forward, charging forward to meet him where he hit, throwing a slurry of punches.
Derus managed to block the worst of it, but was still left injured. He was able to get out from against the wall, before attacking again. This exchange of attacks went on for several minutes, leaving Derus exhausted and hurt, while Fredrick barely had a speck of dirt on him.
“Less than 5 minutes of battle and you’re already exhausted? I pity your lover.” Fredrick taunted as he began to sprint at Derus again.
The intruder growled at the insult. Infuriated, he rushed towards Fredrick as well. Fredrick jumped slightly in an attempt to punch the intruder in the face. Three quick strikes met the air as Derus deftly moved his head away from each attack. Though this movement of his head caused a moment of hesitation. Just enough time for Fredrick to drop and swipe his legs.
As the intruder began to fall backwards, Fredrick quickly stood, turning so that he could slam his fist into the intruders chest. The heavy strike forced him downward, causing the floor under him to break as he was bounced back up. As he heaved any liquid he had in his mouth up, he noticed the wall rapidly approaching.
Right as the intruder was lifted from the ground, Fredrick sent him flying with a swift kick to the back, turning him head over heels. Again slamming into the wall, Derus slowly lifted himself. Unsure of how much more he could take, he began readying a spell.
Noticing the change in attitude, Fredrick ran a hand through his hair, before calling out. “What will it be this time, musician?” He smiled, saying, “Do you have a song to turn yourself into a better assassin?”
Derus scowled, annoyance clear even through his mask. “Something else… this battle has become far more trouble than it’s worth, so I’ve decided to take my leave. Perhaps we’ll meet again, but in the meantime I shall concede this victory to you…”
“You’ll concede every victory to me Derus…” Fredrick replied, dropping slightly. “Do you know why?”
Derus stared, refusing to answer. Fredrick smiled again, and spoke, saying, “It’s because we are simply in different leagues!” He charged at Derus, and just a single moment before his attack would land, the intruder vanished into mist, flying through the windows to escape.
Fredrick spent the rest of the night on high alert. He notified the head of the knights to be on high alert, and ordered that they triple the guard. He would not allow another slip-up.
Confirming that there was no trace of Derus left in the castle, he told Delilah of the attack, and assured her that he took care of it. He would spend every second around her, ensuring that nothing would happen to her.

———Backstory———
Born to Alphonse and Rebecca Valecky, Delilah spent much of her early life in the castle. Having very little to do, Delilah decided to read all of the books in the castle library. Reading every book she could, she discovered that it came incredibly easy to her, and continued on, slowly increasing the length and volume of books she read.
Overtime, she developed many interests, such as mathematics, history, science, and of course, music. Learning from the musicians in the castle, it was discovered that she was born with an innate ability to use music. Her parents gave her the best schooling she could have wanted, and her abilities grew further and further.
After so much time of doing the same things, however, Delilah became bored, and begged her parents to allow her to explore outside. They allowed it, so long as she had guards. As she went out more and more, she met a curious fellow with no name. She decided to speak with him, and as time went on, the two slowly fell in love.
Deciding that he was without name for far too long, Delilah named him Fredrick. As they continued to spend time together, Delilah ran and begged her parents to let her marry Fredrick. After meeting the young man himself, Alphonse allowed it, and Fredrick became Prince Fredrick Valecky, and swore an oath to protect the kingdom, the people, and most of all, Delilah.
After some time, Alphonse and Rebecca passed away, leaving Delilah the throne. As she became Queen, Fredrick renewed his oaths to her, and the two became the rulers of the kingdom of Valecky.

Delilah sat reading a book, waiting for her husband to come to bed. She knew how diligent he was in his patrols, but couldn’t help but wish he would finish soon.
As more and more time passed, Delilah grew worried. She had never take this long before. She called for a servant, but noticed she couldn’t hear a thing. She grew anxious waited, praying that Fredrick would be alright.
After a minute or so, she could hear again. She heard the crashing and breaking of walls, and sent guards to investigate. By the time they would have arrived by the source of the noise however, it had stopped. After a few more minutes, Fredrick entered into the room, assuring her that he was alright.
“You had me worried sick!” She exclaimed, holding him as tightly as she could. “I’m sorry my love. I had to take care of a rather annoying bug.”
She knew better than that, but decided to let it go, slowly looking up at him. “Fine, but you’ll have to make it up to me somehow…” Fredrick blushed brightly as he said those words, before composing himself as best as he could, saying, “Of-of course my love…”
Delilah closed her eyes and looked up to him, and as he leaned down, he kissed her tenderly, before picking her up, and carrying her to the bed. He had much to make up for.
