If it helps, this isn't really an opinion thing. I'm just trying to get it through their head that "limitless" & "very very high but still limited" are not the same thing, again as we have probably like a hundred something pages that show just that.

You can even check the current supernatural longevity page for extra confirmation, the Also Known As section very directly has a good chunk of terms for "unlimited lifespan" but not unkillable, not least of which being Absolute Longevity.

As the one who changed to 3 so as to not invite some people to put some trash without a hefty amount of source and arguments, I'd say: nah dude.

I always wanted to make a formal announcement, but the increasing time constraint that career subjects put over me, alongside my growing absence from day-to-day wiki, and the possible consideration I'm not up to my standards to keep doing my staff responsibilities to the point I'm contemplating stepping down (not before Necro and I make some Staff Applications beforehand), I'd say I've not been doing a good job on being forthcoming which I'm sorry on the part.

Which I'm sorry for, is for fact I do not think powers or abilities have the necessary credentials to be on the mainspace, that's for Fanon. That's another thing, 3 user minimum only applies to mainspace where the documentation of official sources is paramount, or else it'll BE entirely unfair :/.

This rule is a product of a time when the wiki had literally thousands of pages which were essentially fanon. Each 'verse-specific expression of a power type would get its own page with a wiki user's private interpretation of the power, with one or two power users. These pages would languish with few updates and few crosslinks, adding very little but page count to the wiki. We implemented this rule to refocus the community towards finding common powers which had expressions in many 'verses. Our intended result was a community with fewer, more universal pages, where a writer or reader could easily explore the various manifestations of a power type in fiction without going down a rabbit-hole of linked pages. This has been largely successful, and so it wouldn't be in the best interests of the community to remove this rule at this time.

Another motivation behind this rule was that new page moderation represented, at that time, a significant amount of the total effort required to maintain the wiki. We'd burnt through dozens of staff members in a very short span of time. This rule was part of a larger package of changes which increased wiki quality while lowering the time commitment required of the staff members. The category you identified, powers with single users, is a relic of this era of the wiki and should be regarded as a list of unmet targets for moderation stemming from this era instead of a category for legitimate pages.
