I’d say it’s more pros and cons if you plan on being a hero kind of person but if you go villain kind of person killing anyone after you solves most cons

Laws might be imposed that only supers can follow also i think there will be some persecution to the super powered

the pros and cons would be different from the type of world if you are a comic book the hero is constantly attacked by bad and crazy people while you do good while losing the people around you, you might have social problems about who doesn't have powers or is weak, the your presence brings fear even if you do nothing, it also depends on what kind of superpowers you have if they are strong fewer people try to get on you if you are weak prepare for hell, if you talk in the real world it all depends on whether there is racism with supers or meta , how many of you are (majority or minority), what kind of power and how much you have it, even family background changes the vision of the world around you, if you are rich and have a strong or decent ability nothing happens to you, (the world revolves around money, if you are too strong no one will come to you, only in comics people shoot superman, in reality we bow down and ask for forgiveness and offer him money we will try to fulfill any of his wishes and manipulate him indirectly with small things without touch it too much

Scientists using you as experiments isn't a con because scientists in the real world make reasonable ones, not like those of fictions that just want to torture for fun
