You were betrayed by your friends and family, leading to an agonizing death in your past life. You wake up in a new world. (The usual). A flood of memories rush through your mind at once, forcing you to relive your worst moments before death. You swear to get revenge on the people who wronged you, when suddenly, magical energies surround and envelop you, nearly blinding you in its brilliance. After a moment, the light dims and you see a list of contracts. Of the ten contracts shown, only one can be selected. The terms of the contract are all faded, indiscernible from chicken scratch.

One thing is clear though, the primary benefit of the contract is laid out: power. You will attain special and powerful abilities after signing a contract. The powers are only shared with you at first, meaning you don’t begin with full power, but in time, they may become your own. The Guardian plays a key role in your development and gets to decide if you are worthy of their powers.

Be warned, however, as each potential candidate will take it personally if not chosen, and will begin hunting you (they are quite prideful).

On top of all of this, you get to change your appearance, or choose to remain as you were before.

P.S. You get to choose the world you are being reborn into. And, will you trust your guardian, despite your past betrayal and the unknown terms of the contract? After all, if your own family can betray you…

The Contractual Candidates and Their/Your Abilities:

• Apocalyptic Presence: Transform into a state resembling the Ravener King himself. Exceptional agility, reflexes, and speed are but a few things that are greatly enhanced. As well as being coated in a supernatural, impenetrable, kingly aura that provides enhanced protection against physical and magical attacks, rendering you nearly invulnerable.

• Eternal Guardian: The power to summon and control a colossal, supernatural guardian—a creature born from the very essence of the labyrinth.This guardian is fiercely protective and nearly unbeatable within a maze's confines.

• Enigma's Embrace: Manipulate the fundamental mysteries of the universe within your unique labyrinth. As well as reshaping reality within the labyrinth, bending time and space to your will. Allowing you to create illusions, alter the environment, and control the very fabric of the maze.

• Astral Sovereignty: Extend your influence beyond the physical labyrinth, projecting your consciousness into astral planes. This power allows you to surveil distant locations, manipulate events, or exert control over individuals even outside the maze.
