Plot

You will name a power, say, for example, water manipulation, and I will give you a monster to defeat based on the power, (either one i made or one from a movie). You will then fight the monster (with no powers), but you will be allowed to choose any equipment that exists or could possibly exist, even nuclear bombs. If you win, you get the power. (I will decide if you win based on your post.)
Alternately, you can choose a power from the real-life section, but you will lose out on equipment.
Base monster rules

The monster will know where you are at all times.
The monster will know its own weakness and will avoid it at all costs (no surprises!).
No instant-kill monsters will be chosen that will go for both parties involved.
