I always desire to transcend things and not be bound by them, my situations, physicality, concepts, society, the universe, space-time and dimensionality etc.
Ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted to be like Superman. I wanted his powers mainly so I could be like him. Strong, fast, agile, and brave. Nowadays, I want his powers so I can use them the way he does: selflessly. I want to help people in big ways, ways that can inspire society to change for the better. I know that I would make a lot of enemies helping people and catching criminals (whether they live in housing projects, in the suburbs, in mansions, or penthouses, whatever) simply because its the right thing to do but that doesn't matter to me. I want to help people like he does... without immediately getting shot and killed because of it. I know a better power for helping people without immediate consequences would be something like healing, matter manipulation or even reality warping but, I want to simple, effective, but not overpowered. I want to be able to do great things but have limits so that I won't feel overwhelmed by having too much power for one person to handle or let all that power go to my head.
