I don't think it would work as magical creatures like anodites and the like can't be collected by the Omnitrix. Especially human hybrid like Gwen and Ben since it would only read as Human DNA and Anodites are semi organic energy beings with enough whatever to give them from and consciousness but the majority of what I assume is just magical energy. It begs the question how Azmuth got celestialsapien DNA or if he encountered one and created the approximation of what the Omnitrix would preserve as DNA but still allow full access to a being like Alien X's powers.
