@Phantomknight99 Do you mind explaining what exactly you mean? I missed the point you're trying to make.
Right.
Nano adaptation.
That combo is literally op flood from halo but more mechanical than biological.
Technology that can evolve quickly and manifested as nano scale self sufficient multi tools can make any dream army from any planet.
Gamer is op but machines is cold power of invention.
When gamer try compete with nano adaptive organisms he lose if he not have great sage skill in his arsenal because . Nano machines on nano scale very quickly evolve into cosmic nano give or even pico scale hive that can create anything from raw energy/matter conversion.
I personally like the gamer especially if it's set in a society set in like the late 70s or mid 80s when videogames as part of pop culture were just becoming a thing and I voted for it. But I do agree if it's set now or in a futuristic or magic type of story like Solo Leveling or the gamer then yeah it's OP and over played at times and needs to be done right.
Omegmech physiology with superior adaption though also sounds very promising as I can only picture characters like Upgrade from Ben 10 or The Reapers from Mass Effect so I am curious how you would apply this to a teenage character.
I honestly think both story ideas are interesting though and would like to read both 🙂
@Alex8784 the protagonist's father is a scientist who works on a secret project for an organization, in order to help his son (the protagonist) who has a terminal illness, he steals the improved version of nanites and uses them on his son in order to try to cure it. One day after this, the protagonist's awen awakens, which causes the nanites to merge with him
@LimittlesRealm The context of the poll is to decide the power of the project, you know? 😅
@Tiga8472 it does sound interesting 🤔. I do like the fact that the nanites still play an active part in the story no matter which option is chosen. There is a story that I've read where it's very simlar called Transistor by molly J. Bragg where the nanites became sentient and formed a type of symbiotic relationship with the main character. The nanites evolved and over the course of the story upgraded the main characters physical characteristics among granting her new powers.
With this story though the added power of superior adaption makes it even more so for either choice to be near omnipotent by the end of the story or at some point towards the end of it for plot reasons.
I realized something, the protagonist looks like Apocalypse from the X-Men: They are both enhanced by technology and are the first super humans
@Tiga8472 While that is true Apocalypse or En Sabah Nur as he was known then in Ancient Egypt was One of the first mutants he is not in fact the original. That was used in the Fox X-Men movies plot, but his powers are enhanced by extremely advanced alien technology from beings know as Celestials. The celestials in Marvel are in fact the reason for the existence of offshoots of the Human Race one them being mutants.
What do you think?
