@Neosaiyan7 look I apologize I took what you said the wrong way I’m just passionate about the site and bummed my favorite power is now no longer considered official in my eyes now.

Psychic magic is to use magic that is psychic in nature. I already know a user of it on top of my head. Psychic-Magic Mixture is to use both psychic powers and magic, who are 2 different powers together simultanously together as a mix. So they are not the same @Neosaiyan7 . Don't you agree as well @Divinemutantpower1384 ? You are the one who made it fanon. It have more than enough users for it to be canon. And I don't think my evaluation of the two powers are wrong. I know that it feels like walking on thin ice trying to decide to make it fanon or canon, however I still believe that psychic magic and psychic-magic mixture are 2 different powers. I sincerely hope you allow it to be canon.

So other staff members and myself are speaking on this today to decide what to do with it and as of right now I’m not the only staff member who thinks this page has gone in the wrong direction as a mixture page, which I changed initially trying to work with the page, then after further thought put the name I originally found on it back with Fanon in front of it because as it stands right now the page is redundant and way to similar to “Psychic Magic”, so to bring it out of Fanon and different direction will need to be taken.

And I get that changes like this can be or feel really annoying, but they are for the betterment of the Wiki and the work put into these pages. Back a few years ago when I first came to this Wiki if a page wasn’t liked or just wasn’t a power, Fanon wasn’t an option, it was flat out deleted and that was that. Personally, I’d rather try and save the page if I believe it possible and I do see something in this page but not what it is now. The name change was even if temporary is a save in my mind.

@Divinemutantpower1384 I would not mind if it's name is changed. So the problem is at it stands, that it is too similar to Psychic Magic, am I right? And the changes that people do to it is the cause of that?

I’m so confused though, how is psychic magic too similar to psycho-magic mixture? Also wasn’t psionic-magic just fine the way it was as the title? Psionic-Magic for me isn’t the same as its two different abilities similar to twilight manipulation…two things that can be used simultaneously or separately and a force of its own when combined together.

@Abdalla1234 in this case essentially yes, due to certain changes to the page it has caused it to become too similar, as well as lacking synergy and cohesiveness to become a mixture page as it was found. So turning it back to what it formerly was is of course an option, “Psionic Magic”, as well as looking into other avenues for the page to revive it and let stand alone a little more. Since the page is older there’s nothing wrong with updating to bring new life into it, but it has to work when we do that. This one just isn’t doing that currently.

When it comes to combination powers, it is not enough to just identify a list of users that have power A and power B. Coincident powers are not inherently combination powers. A combination needs synergy (the whole is greater than the parts) and the two components need to be inherently linked.

If there is a character who can wield magic, and can wield psionics, and can even wield them both simultaneously … well, that character still has two distinct powers and not one combination power.
