-Agent Smith: A machine that hates humanity so much that he decided to end humanity…by transforming all humans into his loyal clones. If he punches you and you notice a weird black rubbery liquid on you, welp, have fun as one of them. Resistance is pretty much futile

-The Borg: Through horrifying cyborg tech, this hive mind wants to become as advanced as it can.

-The Cybermen: Machines that while converting, remove emotion from your body. Sometime this fails and you are left horrified at yourself (e.g an episode of Doctor Who involving a cyberman begging for death in a monotonous voice)

Option I forgot to put here: The Stalkers:

From a 2000s synthpop song, these guys are just Agent Smith except high off of that Dreamweb stuff. They were once agents of the Dremweb Corp or whatever the hell that’s called, then they were exposed to the horrors of the Hivemind, and decided to become Agent Smith lite, turning women into men and being stalky

Cybermen has more independence than the Borg and has some atleast a little individuality, depending on what rank or position in the army if possible, such as cyber-controller.
