could planeswalking solve the boredom of absolute immortality?
could planeswalking solve the boredom of absolute immortality?
I agree with @Mysterylobo
If you try to become master in 1000 things it alone take 10000 years to achieve .
Boredom is for lazy.
Traveling to various planes not guarantee , various activities that fill your immortality.
Yes. And if you become bored enough you can planeswalk right into the afterlife kingdoms.
First you have to understand why people find immortality boring or should I say that it's not that immortality is boring, it's the fact that you become immortal that at one point you become bored then, if you found out what that is, then you have to figure out how to make sure that never happens. So I say you have to explain it further for me why you think it is, because to me this doesn't really solve the main problem of immortality.
I think it would.
I mean as @Mysterylobo said. If you don' get bored from adventuring at the least. That's what I'll do. Besides, you might get stronger and level up in each world by obtaining their power system.
Does pain and loss mean nothing, are you really saying you going to distract yourself in the form of escapism by just adventuring, is that really how you going to deal with your problems?
@Neosaiyan7 it's not escapism. I'm trying to move forward. I am fully aware that everyone that I will meet will die of old age and move on. I have to do the same. I have seen multiple anime characters facing that same dilemma.
I dont know being immortal comes with new ways of dealing with things that mortals dont deal with. They deal with loss differently. Maybe you lost someone years ago but time heals that wound slowly. For immortals time is what they have plenty of so they can afford to adapt better as difficult as it might be. Some characters whine about their immortality and others enjoy it.
For the most part most of them complain about it.
We have perspective of a mortal compared to the unknown view of the experience of an actual immortal, until we can finally understand what it would be like for ourselves, we sort of don't have the accuracy to exactly know the details what it would be like.
What do you think?
