@Angelic Demon1 As comprehensive as you make it.
For their powers you could use their Name Etymology, Personality, Alias if you wanted.
And för naming them, use Japanese Name Dictionary
And if they are mixed like Kosei, than just fine a given or last name from that country. The name should also represent the person in some sense.
@Kyrios Neo I don't know their names, personality or alias. But I assume you've got a good grasp on it so I'll check your post history.
@Angelic Demon1 Don't do that I'll just tell you their names
Source Cards are powerful Artifacts granted as Blessings from the Gods. Source Cards are each related to one of said Gods and such Cards directly draw power from the God.
Source Cards are indestructible and have unique properties that make them untouchable. One such property is its ability to 'hide' inside the hearts of their Wielders. When an individual owns a Source Card, they are able to unleash a powerful Talent in relation to a domain of the God that blessed the Source Card. Meaning each Source Card wielder can obtain different Talents or even the same Talents depending on their individual affinity to a domain of the God.
Source Cards are also powerful catalysts in inducing other individuals to awaken their own Talent. These Talents are individual skills that are a culmination of themselves, relating to their innate desires or their personalities. The Source Cards develop Vassal Cards for these individuals in order to enable them to use their Talents.
The Source Cards themselves often have their own Mark that is the symbol of the Yakuza Head that wields it. This Mark appears on the upper right and bottom left corner of each Vassal Card face to show which Source Card created it.
One difference between the Source and Vassal Cards is that the Source Cards have an image depicting the Wielder; often with symbolic elements in reference to the powers of the Head. The Vassal Cards instead are simpler and use symbols to depict their Talents.
The Source Card of the main protagonist is the Source Card of Change. His Talent (Placeholder) is called {Formless} which enables him to change his form into whatever he desires; so long as he has seen the form of it.
The Source Card of Muhan Sobugawa is the Source Card of Past. His Talent is {Yesterday To Now} which enables him to reverse the time of anything he sets his eyes on. Which is why he often allows himself to be blindfolded to decrease the risk of accidentally using his power. His Source Card helps circumvent his self imposed blindness by becoming his 'second set of eyes.' Which manifest as a form of clairvoyance only Source Card Wielders are capable of.
@Angelic Demon1 I love Muhan's but can you change Kosei's after his given name meaning
The name Kosei means "glowing, bright, clear" (晃) (kō) and "true, sincerity, truly, a heart without lies and falsehoods" (誠) (sei).
@Kyrios Neo Sure. Kosei's Source Card can be the Source Card of Truth. His Talent is {Clear Verity}. Kosei can distort the truth of events. Allowing him to change events by making certain aspects 'true' and other aspects 'false.' For example, he can even change the outcome of a loss to become his victory by making his loss a 'falsity.'
@Angelic Demon1 Can you make three more for Kosei
One based on the concept of names, another based on logic and the last being ideals
@Kyrios Neo Names?! You came to the right person for that.
The Source Card of Name. Kosei's Talent is {Prominence Epithet}, it allows Kosei to draw different abilities from the names and aliases he is known for, granting him a variety of powers to use. However, the strength of said powers are dependent on how well known those names are. The more famous the name; the stronger the associated power becomes.
The Source Card of Logic. Kosei's Talent is {Ratiocination Antagonist}, it enables Kosei to break the chains of logic binding his actions, allowing him to be as unreasonable as he can be. However, in order to defy logic he has to truly believe that the impossible can become objective fact; an unreasonable philosophy so to speak.
The Source Card of Ideal. Kosei's Talent is {Paragon Philosophy}, he brings what he believes to be the 'ideal' state of something into reality. For example, the ideal state of a cup of water should be that it remains the same temperature and never spills. Or if he believes the notion that humans should be peaceful, he can induce feelings of peace in others.
@Angelic Demon1 Ok, all of them are amazing and it seems we both had the same Idea for names
What do you think?
