Creation: Philosopher Stone
Also Called: Magnum Opus, The Fifth Element, The Heart of Sorcery.
Ingredients:
1 Quart of Quicksilver: Also Known as Enchanted Mercury, it’s physical properties were altered to invert the toxicity within the metallic liquid. Instead of being poisonous, it’s now induces vitality.
100 Dimensional Shards: The crystallized fragments of space-time, which break off of two or more observable universes (the existential cosmological realities like the one we live in) when they scratch the sides of each other. It was bought from a shaman who got them through the earliest form of conjuration; astral projected himself outside the universe, gathered the shards and dematerialize them from the higher reality (virtually annihilating them) and rematerializing it into our universe (restoring them).
10 Stellarian Seeds: The spores (thrice the size of an acorn) of common cosmological entities known as Stellarians. Born on the surface of stellar bodies (like our sun), they are beings of incredible energy, each spore contains the stellar energy of 20-30 Nukes per hour for 3 Hrs. Also bought from the same shaman who obtained them though proto-conjuration.
Recipe:
1. Melt all 100 Dimensional Shards by breaking 5 of the 10 Stellarian Seeds, this will turn the fragments of crystallized reality into a Molten Celestial Glass.
2. Pour 3 Cups of Molten Celestial Glass into Quicksilver, mix until black.
3. Add 3 Chunks of Brimstone to the concoction, it will turn immediately turn white, wait until it turns a bright pink.
4. Use the remanding stellarian seeds to absorb most of the immense heat of the liquid, transforming the remaining seeds into a super stellar seed for later use. The philosopher fluid will turn a deep bright red-orange (Scarlet or Vermilion).
5. Tranmute the liquid into solid form, the philosopher stone will take the form of a medium sized rock (big enough to fit in your hand) made out of a scarlet-colored obsidian like material.
Properties of Creation:
For transmutation, you would probably need to know what the elements and compounds of the material is made of and the elemental and molecular composition of what you want it to transform it into; with the Philosopher Stone, an alchemist can amplify the users alchemy to extreme lengths that they can transmute anything just by holding the substance (element or compound) you want to turn another material into in one hand and the philosopher stone in your other hand. (E.G. turning lead into gold by holding gold in your left hand, philosopher stone on the other hand, then transmute!)
With the right herbs, one could even use the philosopher stone to transmute said herbs into the the ultimate potion; creating a Panacea (a potion that is said to be the elixir of life; granting, virtual immortality and curing all mortal diseases).
As magical powers seems to bend, modify and sometimes defy the natural laws of the universe, and the philosopher stone does a bonus to that. It said that the philosopher stone to manipulate the laws of reality, creating new physics. This level of manipulation to the physical phenomena of the universe is said to have been used by the earliest sorcerers to alter the laws of magicks as well. Leading to the creation of the arts of sorcery (the renaissance of modern wizardry).
Fun Fact:
Enchantment was a Spell invented by the alchemists to alter the physical properties of matter without altering the elements and compounds, a transmutation of attributes instead of substance.
PK Abilities such as Astral Projection & Dematerialization/Rematerialization were fabricated by by the shamans (Mana Amplified PK Users with a strong sense of spirituality; the earliest mystics) to project consciousness and conjure objects from higher realities.
