Not gonna lie but gurren lagan make impression of transcendence.
When I first time seen fight that grow in scale from planetary local conflict to throwing universes in the last episodes ,
I like to see interaction between world and transcendent beings.
When I seen wizen and asura fight it's was just epicness but if think that asura also a demigod of mantra spectre and just restricted by plot , everything become normal .
But if talk about fight with mantra derivation/embodiment in the end that at the level of the galaxy and then generally on the personal plane of the source of the mantra,
Honestly I like it but all depends on context .
When asura fighting with own teacher that episode was on human size but effects and context was feels like planetary size conflict.
