I feel like he's either gonna get offed once someone finds out about about his death note bullshit, or off-screened as collateral in a random fight.

At least until Batman tracks him down, breaks every bone in his body, locks him in Arkham Asylum and uses Lazarus Pit to resurrect all the criminals.
