Scold them they don't trust me enough to tell me their secret so it would really be a failure on my part

I want my children to be completely open with me and trust me to tell me what worries them

Also I won't ever let them do it again but depends on their powers

Maybe I don't want my child risking there lives who wants that

Honestly if I don't know there secret especially this big then it's my failure as a parent you should be the one of the people they trust most

Really? What are your powers? What do you normally fight against? after that I'll tell as and guild on how to use their if it's something like belief dependent power, I'll also help them with their powers if they are using it wrong, I'd probably help them get stronger if I can too, then I'll see if it's multiple, how many others have powers like them and how they get them if their born with them, on fighting criminals I'll see if they are strong enough physically, mentally and again powerful enough where I won't have to worry about them in the worst case scenarios.
