There would be something similar to the Makai Order in my story too, and this is where my doubts arise, because I thought of two scenarios:
1- the protagonist was adopted by a legendary warrior of that order, but who was already retired. The warrior would have found him near where his parents died, and the protagonist would be raised with the warrior's biological children. The protagonist would have much more contact and daily contact with the younger ones, since the older ones had already left home and were still in the order. When the protagonist's powers first appeared, the warrior saw that there was no other way, his adopted son would have to train, even if the warrior wanted him to have a normal life.
2- the protagonist's grandfather would be a legendary warrior of the Order, but he retired in order to give his family a more peaceful life. However, when his grandson awakens the numen for the first time, he sees that there is no other choice but to train and instruct him.

Note: in both versions the protagonist awakens the numen between the ages of 16 and 17, and in the first chapter the protagonist is already 19 years old.
What do you think? Which one is better?
