To be fair @TheDevil7777 You have to remember he spent a large portion of his childhood under ground in a bland environment and he's basically anti-social after he left that bunker because of that research foundation always monitoring him and because of his powers. There's a reason he grew up to be that way. Also Yogiri does not like fighting so it makes sense why he would not develop like Saitama, and his ability was never suited for fighting anyway, how would a fight with his abilities really go? Because aside from his insta death his just a normal human and his powers will interfere with anything that tries making him not normal I guess, like how that Sage's system did not work on him.

I think everyone here misunderstands Yogiri way too much that its a bit unfair. Yogiri didn't really have much of a chance to develop a personality and the foundation that was locking him away wanted that. Let me explain his childhood first than.
Yogiri's mother passed away shortly after his birth I think and his father is no where to be found, maybe he doesn't have one since his mother also seemed to be an avatar of the end. Regardless, in this village it doesn't seem like he had much of a social life, the villagers would feed him, clean after him and do simple things to take care of him, maybe some of them played with him to time but I think that was all, Yogiri however did start loving them and appreciating what they did for him, then one of them murdered everyone there which left him traumatized at that age and caused him to have a mini rampage. At the end of his rampage he is simply sealed thousands of feet under ground in a special dimension I guess or an artificial environment, the other humans locked up in this facility were just criminal but they didn't interact with him, so he's choices of interaction was a foundation that wanted him dead but didn't know how to so they sealed him away from humanity, criminals locked away with powers, machines that were imitating human looks but visibly weird because of their manner of interaction and also a few demigods and some dying god spirits that followed him around, remember his still physically a human and nothing more, now realistically what type of human do you all expect to develop from this ? Let's continue, he did have some teachers like the woman you saw in the anime but they still didn't bond much with him, until Ms.Takatou came he spent most of his time alone and then he did get a friend but she didn't visit a lot. Now when he went to the surface, Yogiri was essentially an introvert, he's house was even far into the woods away from everyone else. He started talking with a girl at his school once, but then some huge event happened later involving his classroom which made him leave schools and further keep to himself, then again he went through 2 other incidents involving the school mates that he got close too, which again made him more introverted. At this point he didn't the school mates that talked with him coming to his house and mostly seemed to want to be left alone by others, except those he already bonded with.
So from this we already see, he spent most of his childhood alone, got small uncommon moments of ordinary interaction, when he started liking and appreciating the villagers they were killed, he made a friend in an underground tunnel who was just a ghost that tried killing him later on and he felt guilty still(so he's "friend" tried killing him and died) and remember he's still a kid, he was kept underground away from human civilization only to be with robots, criminals and the people that wanted a way to deal with him etc. Then new caretakers all seem to leave or die, then he's sent to the surface and when he socializes a bit his classroom all encounter danger and he blames himself so he distances himself, then it happens 2 other times again, I haven't even mentioned how many people appear just to kill or the people he cares about or those around, which again he does not want others getting involved in these things because of him. The list still goes on, but seeing this all I'm sure you all see how he's personality has more reason to be even worse than his relaxed one now. But also remember the foundation would of course want him to have no personality, if you had an entity that could end your race and your universe and had no way to kill them, would it seems logical to let them roam freely and grow on their own? Imagine a political extremist with Yogiri's power even ordinary people would eventually use his powers for their own reasons, many of them would be "corrupted" by the power and kill others, so of course they wouldn't want Yogiri to have a personality. This is still like 1/3 of the reasons he's the way he is.
SPOILERS.
Also even after all that, he still has a personality and some morals, the anime just doesn't show these. I will admit he acts bland but he still has a personality, which I think was starting to arise a bit later into the series(LN).
I'll give one example of his morals, when that gun girl released a nuke on that android dragon girl, Yogiri could have killed her, but he didn't because he felt it was to interfere in a way and would also feel bad for just killing them like that.
Also Yogiri could actually go to his world right now if he really wanted too, all he has to do is kill the space between the Isekai world and his original world and he'll be there, but he didn't because he was afraid of killing life forms throughout those millions of universes, it even said that he would not be able to get over the guilt if he did that.
Also guys Yogiri does not want to fight like Saitama, he wants to live a normal life, or as normal as his life can get, he does not enjoy killing and doesn't want the thrill of a fight.
I think in alternate story, with different themes and more indepth explanation, Yogiri could have been a pretty good character.
I still don't like him. I hate his apathy. At least Anos knows how to sympathize. He even gave the teacher that tried to unalive his mother a chance to reform. Yogiri would just have unalived her on the spot. I actually loved that honestly. He reincarnated her into the body of a half-blood that she hated the most and made her understand the suffering and perspective of the discrimination she committed on others. When she actually began to change, he even supported her. Yogiri would never do that.
@Abdalla1234 Yogiri can't do that, if he was there at most it's either all her powers would have been taken away, some of her limbs would permanently die, some part of her would have permanently died, his power is not all that versatile, I still think Yogiri can be merciful. But that aside, every character is different, Yogiri is not as good as Diablo true, but again that's a bit of Yogiri's personality a different character, and I even explained why he's like that, it makes sense for him to be Apathetic after his childhood.
@Ogtea but he stays apathetic. Even most characters who had it rough don't stay apathetic.
@Abdalla1234 Through the story he doesn't have much chance to not be apathetic, being apathetic can be learned because of constantly feeling pain so you mentally become numb to protect yourself. With how constant death and chaos was in his world he'd go insane trying to connect to all those people just for them to die. And again the story wasn't a huge time of his life, I think it was less than a year even, not much time for character development. Also his power is automatic, if somebody tried killing him by surprise or faster then he can react they'll just die and other times he tries talking with the people trying to kill him, but they continue regardless and less of them actually stop and hear him out, like I said, he's not powerful enough to do what Anos does in the moment of a fight.
