Replacing a body part with mundane animals would do nothing except detriment them. Putting the eye of an eagle in someone's socket would be a very bad idea medically.

And you're right, trying to entirely replace a humans blood with cryptid would cause the humans death. There needs to be a human base amount of blood for the Cryptid blood to "mix" with.

And these questions aren't dumb at all. I'm more than happy to answer them.

@Mourning Raine There is a substance in the world called a Skin-Stopper. It's a devised chemical used by poachers to harvest the skins of Cryptids. Because Cryptids, as a baseline, are more durable than humans, their skin is used by some rather despicable people to make armor or special clothing. Depending on the nature of the Cryptid, this clothing/armor could have other affects such as resistances to extreme temperatures, and potentially boost the strength of the wearer by utilizing the enhanced muscle fibers of the Cryptid flesh.

So technically you could use a Cryptid body part to get stronger, but generally it'll just be some boost to durability/strength rather than anything else.

Could a human slowly introduce cyptid blood and haemelite over time... to increase there chances of surviving or would that not work?

And what are some of the effects of a hemograph sigil?

@Mourning Raine I guess since it's technically still introducing the blood it could potentially work. However, you can't remove all of your human blood. Being a mage requires both human and cryptid at the same time.

Haemographic sigils can have a variety of effects depending on their form. There can also be multiple sigils for the same effect, as different cultures create different sigil shapes. The only potentially adverse effect is that, if you inscribe a sigil on someone and activate it, they may feel hot as the sigil burns away.

But what effects can a sigil generate ?

It's basically rune magic. It can do almost whatever assuming you have the skill and knowledge.
