@Neosaiyan7 oh yeah, I remember a part in the comics when Toxin broke Patrick's PC and feeling guilty, he went to take a new one during night, not realizing he stole that and it wasn't right.
The reason Venom and Carnage feared him, was because every new spawn is much stronger than the previous. A clear example is Carnage, who managed to overpower both Venom and Spider-Man. So Toxin is stronger than Spider-Man, Venom and Carnage together.
It seems that the hosts themselves influence the symbiotes, in fact, when bonded to Eddie, Toxin was much more aggressive, almost forgetting what he had learned with Patrick. But then he returned as a hero after the events of Knull and bonded with a teen host.
Yeah, I read that Venom had to be "cleansed" of his villain traits. Once that, it was a totally different symbiote.
I’m choosing the symbiote, their flawed and complicated being just like us so I want to try and understand my symbiote as an equal not just a weapon or source of power. We are partners, fear and mistrust are only going to make things worse.
In reality I wouldn't bond with a symbiote because of the second sentient voice in my head that knows all my thoughts
Gotta stay.... cool....
Ngl, I don't think it matters what symbiote I get (unless its carnage) I think I have a strong enough will and control over my emotions to the point I teach the symbiote what's good and what's bad.
@Neosaiyan7 what about Hybrid?
I don't know, I rarely read Hybrid, other than the fact it's more insane for people here who says about hearing voices in your head, imagine having multiple symbiotes talking in your head. It's interesting, the symbiotes included in the hybrid does seem to be obedient no matter the host, even to Carnage when he tried to make his own hive. They are safe to bond with as long no one can control them, as on their own they really loyal. But the most powerful host to bond with hybrid is The Maker (aka the ultimate mr. fantastic/reed richards). I just find it interesting they haven't bothered to include Scream at all.
Yeah, I haven't read much about his story either. I know that with his first host, he tried to hold back his anger instead of amplifying it.
I would say this, Eddie Brock was the one who did kill the host while he was bonded to the symbiotes, and Eddie didn't need to use a symbiote to kill him, possibly with a heated knife.
I hear he used a sort of weapon but it killed the host, not the symbiotes.
What do you think?
