This means that you can enact the effect of using the power without being subject to the limitations of randomness by removing the cause from an action while retaining the subsequent effect. For example, using the power might result in a random effect, but not using the power results in no random effect. By paradoxically using the power without actually using it, you're in a state of having not used it, and thus, the effect is not random.

Alternatively, you could have your future self come back in time and remove the limitation for you.

I will never pick the other powers due to their overpoweredness, and the catches are too pointless, they make the powers even worse.
