I would want my weapon to warm me and be capable of acting on itself for whenever I fail to do so. I may not have a great reflex but my sentient weapon shall!

I can imagine a scenario where I'm in the middle of a battlefield and I recently got done decimating an entire squad. Just for a bullet to dive towards me and my weapon deflects it without my knowledge. Perfect unity between me and my weapon!
