No it's not the same. You could say it's something similar. Ethereal is the combo of Aether and Nethrr. Aether is the manipulation of energy/element/forces etc of positivity and life that kinda shape the universe and flows in it e.g. magic, chi, life-force, aura etc. Nether is the opposite, manipulating the energy/element/forces etc of the Dark essence that flows in the underworld e.g. death, demonic, Abyss, void etc. Ethereal combines those two, making it a very very powerful Manipulation akin to Manipulating every force/energy/element that shapes and flows through worlds/universes/multiverses etc. So kinds 2nd OP-iest

Sorry I’m taking too long im confused shouldn’t elemental control be a variant of energy-matter manipulation & force manipulation instead of ether then?

I feel like ether is literally everything (cosmic, psychic, magic, divine, demonic, angelic, scientific, concept, etc…) rolled into one though and it’s literally BOTH energy and matter as well as force too not just specifically matter and universal force only like elemental manipulation explains which sounds limited when you say it out loud, or at least to me personally.

Idk. Elements are an essential or characteristic part of something abstract. Ethereal is what I explained above before. If it flows through cosmic, psychic, magic, divine, demonic, angelic, scientific, concept, etc… then yeah it should have control over these
