Also ... if we choose OP, we don't know what level we're getting all psionic powers. Peak Human? Enhanced? Supernatural? Since it's not Absolute Psionics we only know it's below Absolute-level. However, if your OP includes Psionic Empowerment, you can probably slowly increase your power-levels to high Supernatural.

My own goals would seem to be more in-line with OP, but OF is more powerful, and I don't know what opposition I'm facing. So better choose OF and change into the Leader (MU) or the Watcher (MU) and try to get a grip on what's going on here in this universe. As always, the answer to WWYD is to first find out the true nature of our reality.

@Two-of-Six I would personally disagree with the idea that Omnifarious is primarily focused on the material plane. While shapeshifting does tend to imply this, the definition and description of Omnifarious suggests that the user should be capable of shapeshifting 'independently from the laws of physics and logic', making it entirely feasible to pull off things like shapeshifting into a form made entirely out of an abstract concept. That's also not to mention that many fictional verses, such as Marvel and DC, have absurdly powerful characters who can definitely affect things beyond the material plane and primarily derive their power from physiological/genetic traits which a user of Omnifarious would undoubtedly be capable of replicating.

I do absolutely agree that the poll being between an absolute and non-absolute power introduces a massive incongruity in that, if we take them purely as presented on the pages, Omnifarious has no limits by its own definition, whereas Omni-Psionics is presented as being limited by the user's access/output of psionic power/energy.

You've also touched on another thing I think is interesting to consider with this sort of poll: we don't know what's out there. The idea of being granted these kinds of powers requires that these kinds of powers exist at all, in which case it's fully possible for other entities to possess power of this level as well and we would never know unless they reveal themselves or we get the powers needed to find out. We also have no idea if such entities would take the gaining of powers like this lightly, or if they would act immediately to end a potential threat - or indeed take over the newly powered entity for their own ends.

Out of curiosity, what would you choose if the poll was between Omnifarious and Absolute Psionics?

@AzQth Omnifarious, since I don't know who or what is out there, and I have to grab the more powerful ability. Even if OP can grow over time, the opposition may not give me time, and OF is already Absolute-level. Then I've got to shapeshift into something that can scan reality and process that data,

@Neosaiyan7 Does it? What if you have Astral Projection and Meta Matter Manipulation? If your physical body got disintegrated, could your Astral Form not hang around on the physical plane, or re-enter it from the Astral Plane, and then you use MMM to create a new body? For Omni-Psionics, if the level is high enough, something like this may be possible. Or just possess people after your physical body dies.

Omni-Psionics, because I personally love Psionic Abilities! But with Omnifarious I could transform into a entity with extremely powerful psionic Abilities. Maybe I should rethink.
