I apologize if this offensive, but it just triggers me to think people can reason with God, the coldless uncaring monster, if we had to believe from the Bible, thought that Jesus' sacrifice was enough to eliminate sins forever, and look where we are, with still criminals, and God hasn't done one of his massacres yet. And we can believe in this scenario, that is this massacre, so by presenting, oh, only kill the criminals, not us, but God wouldn't care, he thinks we are all guilty, it's all or nothing. He could've done that with the Noah's Ark situation, or even the the Plagues of Egypt, this is nonetheless the same. Again, I'm sorry, but I just don't believe you can redeem yourself, you are stuck with us, with the rest of the sinners.

I just assume God is just a neurotic perfectionist who took a centuries long vacation and that's why humanity is the way it is.

I like to think of God as a player of a simp world and humans as the Sims. Sure, sometimes the player has favorites and usually tries to help humanity, but sometimes, we just like to summon the end of the world for a pastime. We don't think of it as bad, though, because they are just game characters, and they aren't sentient, which is probably the level of difference of power between us and God if he exists. Just because we think it's evil doesn't mean a high being does.

I just see so many people spouting some verses which, Naturally cause hundreds of comments to follow,

Like, 2 days ago i saw a comment say "Huh, for an athiest you really know a lot about the bible,"... like no shit? i can read the book but that doesn't mean i'll fall head over heels and agree with it,

By that logic my father, (who's VERY christian) is islamic because he read bits of the quran... which, No?

And one day i saw a meme, a silly joke

The second one was basically calling the dude blasphemy, saying that memes are supposed to be funny, well yeah it was to a degree, and even then not all memes are funny, memes aren't even obligated to be funny, they are just "ideas or anything that spread from one mind to another"

And YES, there are memes that are unfunny, examples being the "buying property in egypt" meme i haven't even bothered to try and look up, or literally any brainrot meme, they are still called memes,

They also assumed i wasn't christian because of this, which, Yeah, i'm agnostic, but was raised christian for a majority of my life,

I’m curious how many of y’all are Christians. Just wondering because some responses are pessimistic towards humanity, others are optimistic they can make a good case, and some note the indifference of god. I guess I wanna see who characterizes god how. I myself am an atheist. I would’ve said agnostic, but religion doesn’t have any place in my life currently
