You are in the presence of God and the Devil, who are both planning to wipe out humanity to start anew.
Come up with a convincing argument on why you think humanity should be spared from the oncoming rapture.

Then I think I would try asking why they both want to destroy humanity.
If it is because humanity is evil, then I would argue that they shouldn't work together and the Devil shouldn't destroy humanity.
If it is because humanity is good then I would argue that they shouldn't work together and the Christian God shouldn't destroy humanity.
I’m… starting to get the feeling fandom really does filter out a certain type of people cuz there’s a lot of similarities and levels of faith here, that’s actually kinda cool
Damn, this got philosophical real fast.
I'm not familar with religious terms, I'm not religious, but I assume the most likely status would be atheist. But I did went to a religious secondary school, which seems to be christian, and was taught a lot of Jewish folklore or customs. And I myself, if desperate, will "pray" to God, just in sake of hoping there is afterlife for me, however, like I said, it's more of a crutch, a false hope to rely on, until I see proof of existence.
From what I've seen, this is your guy about topics in general.

Oh yeah I’ve seen this guy once or twice, I believe the videos I saw were about male loneliness? Been a while, I subscribe to too many things lol
"if humanity is beyond salvation then you have admitted that you are also beyond salvation since you created them in your image, so by all means destroy them but then you would have to destroy yourself or live forever in the knowledge that you are doomed to continually create failures due to your own faults, humanity is but the Collective Shadow of the divinity - you destroy it yet it returns, again and again, until you finally face it properly".
Then probably get vaporized but hey, I said my piece.
Also.. nobody really asked to exist.. he sorta just chose to,
Idk man, some people view life as a gift but that really depends on what that life is,
We’re responsible for our lives and the lives around us, but he’s responsible for the whole of our existence,
I'm trying to think, how can we tie this to, Did God ask to exist as well?
If humanity is deemed as "evil" by the very entity(ies) that created them then that says more about the "higher" powers than humanity.
Any higher power that punishes their creations rather than themselves is no higher power at all.
(of course I'm a filthy occultist who basically makes their own system so not exactly going to be speaking for a vast chunk of folk who believe in such things, to folk like me the idea of being condemned or saved by another power is silly as each soul will naturally gravitate towards what it deems correct.. https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Fanon:Self-Salvation )
if there is a higher power I expect them to follow this line of thinking:
https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Fanon:Universal_Salvation
The whole idea of an all-powerful entity that judges or even "hates" humanity is very medieval, humans judge each other, thus it seem a very.. human trait.. to add onto something that is meant to be so beyond us.
@Mister Globby But wouldn't a higher being be so vastly different to us that even if we viewed them as evil, at their level, it would be merciful and just. Even if we were made in their image, it would be like a comparison between a 1d object and a 5d or above object?
What do you think?
