You are in the presence of God and the Devil, who are both planning to wipe out humanity to start anew.
Come up with a convincing argument on why you think humanity should be spared from the oncoming rapture.

I'm trying to think, how can we tie this to, Did God ask to exist as well?
If humanity is deemed as "evil" by the very entity(ies) that created them then that says more about the "higher" powers than humanity.
Any higher power that punishes their creations rather than themselves is no higher power at all.
(of course I'm a filthy occultist who basically makes their own system so not exactly going to be speaking for a vast chunk of folk who believe in such things, to folk like me the idea of being condemned or saved by another power is silly as each soul will naturally gravitate towards what it deems correct.. https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Fanon:Self-Salvation )
if there is a higher power I expect them to follow this line of thinking:

The whole idea of an all-powerful entity that judges or even "hates" humanity is very medieval, humans judge each other, thus it seem a very.. human trait.. to add onto something that is meant to be so beyond us.
@Mister Globby But wouldn't a higher being be so vastly different to us that even if we viewed them as evil, at their level, it would be merciful and just. Even if we were made in their image, it would be like a comparison between a 1d object and a 5d or above object?
@TwilightMonarch13 Not really how it works, the very idea of thinking of humanity as "evil" is a very human trait for a supposedly all-powerful being to have, even if they did think of us as "evil" the idea that the solution would be to wipe us out is an incredibly human reaction, not helped by numerous statements by such entities they created humanity in their own image (thus by admiting flaws in humans they admit flaws in themselves).
They would think of a far better alternative, the whole "eternal torture, mass-destruction, vindictive punishment" etc mindset is that of a medieval human elite, not a timeless entity that creates infinite structures across countless realities.
The idea that souls naturally gravitate towards their own destiny (as found in Swedenborgian) is one I found to work best, the concept that an "evil" soul will find "hell" to be fairly acceptable just as a "good" sould will find "paradise" to be a natural fit is much better than the idea that external entities sit above us and force us into certain behaviors while also claiming to value free-will.
Bravo, Bravo, I like that, someone admits imperfection is in everything, and that is the trait that what we consider human, that it's not really black or white, it's grey, the fact we can value and treat evil as a natural aspect of ourselves.
God could be considered equal to us, if he admits his wrongs, but that's just human isn't it.
Damn, most of the replies are either kill humanity, kill most of humanity, and watch humanity burn
Y'all are very vocal about killing most of humanity.
@Atomicola 2.0 This place is filled with anti-heroes, anti-villains and outright villains. You think?
Oof for us then. XD
No but seriously tho, all of these replies are stating about punishing humanity, which implys that humanity has collectively committed these crimes when in reality it was either they did it for survival or because a single evil person had authority over them.
@Atomicola 2.0 that's because most of internet is inhabited by malevolent 13 year olds or 50 year old edge-lords.
They will say whatever makes them seem "cool", they have no actual interest in the Human Extinction Movement because they'd have to actually endanger themselves to partake in such things, which goes against the very core of an internet edge-lord
(note: obviously not endorsing such stuff, just saying people online are often full of it, take what they say with a truck load of salt).
What do you think?
