Both for me
both, but I believe much more in science (I'm not that evangelical), but I respect those who believe in religions
Both
There's no difference really.
Listen here DParcade, did you know I studied Theology in secondary school, mind you, a religious secondary school, and I learned many things about religion, not just christianity, and yet I'm not a religious man, and you know my view upon religion, it's literally their whole deal, it's a set of beliefs, something I can choose to believe in. How I see religion is something people depend upon to make their lives easier, yet what their religion is about is hard to prove to be true, and yet that's the whole deal about science, and science is trying to do that, and if it ever happens, science will prove religion is true, but until then, how am I suppose to believe religion, if science got the facts.
But here, this is more suitable answer to this question:

I would go with both.
@Temporal (Zen-El) I get where you're coming from—believing in yourself, owning your choices, and being responsible for your life. That’s a good thing, and honestly, Jesus did talk about making real choices and taking personal responsibility. He called people to follow Him freely, not by force.
But in my opinion: Jesus didn’t just come to teach self-empowerment or independence. If you look at how He lived and what He said, He constantly pointed everything back to His relationship with the Father.
So while Jesus values freedom and choice, He shows us that real freedom isn’t just about doing life on your own terms—it’s about being connected to someone greater than yourself. The highest use of free will isn’t independence from God—it’s choosing relationship with God. He lived that out by totally trusting and aligning Himself with the Father’s will.
So yeah, believe in yourself—and also consider that Jesus invites us into something even deeper: not just independent living, but life lived in relationship with God. That’s where the real transformation happens.
