So, it's me, TheLegend27! I took some break from powers for last days and now I am back with refreshed mind and new understanding how things work. Essentially, this is the way to Enlightenment: to observe and rest, afterwards observe again.
So, I've got some really brilliant ideas I'll share with you. In this wiki, it's common to find discussions questioning what absolute power is stronger. For instance, I asked if almighty laws can kill an absolutely immortal being myself a little time ago. In this post, I am going to end this once and for all.
The question of absolute powers result easily when we define what we mean by it. So, there's two main ideas what absolute means and all of those questions come as misunderstanding between them.
The first definition, which is mainly used in this wiki, says absolute is peak. That means there's no stronger version of this power as it is already on the very top. If you make something more powerful than absolute, then it wasn't absolute at the first place because absolute cannot be topped since it is the top itself. For example, Absolute Invulnerability is the ability to be completely immune to any kind of damage. Since this power is absolute, that means there's no Invulnerability that is more invulnerable than this one. You may imagine there are different levels Invulnerability and absolute by its definition is always the top and there's no ability more powerful than its absolute version.
When we define absolute as peak, then all questions shatter and incarnate itself. Because there's peak Invulnerability which cannot be anyway updated, that doesn't mean there can't be peak Attack that can damage user after all. Since both powers are peak, they may overpower each other. That's the reason why absolute powers can counter each other and why any absolute power can bypass another one. That's why to all questions which absolute power is stronger the answer is always undetermined.
Nonetheless, it's important to note it is possible to overcome absolutes. Let's suppose we have a running competition between two runners. Competitor A possesses Absolute Speed, which is the peak speed power and there's no speed faster than it which results that no matter what power his opponent has, he won't be able to beat him, right? That's how absolute powers work? No. The thing is there is Omnipotence (yeah, I know. I simply can't write a message without referring to Omnipotence). So, can Omnipotence run faster than absolute? Since Omnipotence can do anything, that means it can. Therefore, we attain speed faster than the top speed. How is that possible? If you can run faster than absolute speed, doesn't that mean A's speed was never absolute at this point?
Factually, since absolute means “peak”, then it's specifically fixed point we can describe. It's like we can update some stats until we reach the point when we could add no more updates. That's absolute. In fact, it is a boundary for speed. But since Omnipotence can do anything, they are able to surpass any limitation. This aspect is known as Indeterminacy and if runner B has it, he would win A despite having Absolute Speed. Irrational Indeterminacy is going beyond absolute.
The second definition of absolute that users often confuse states absolute is the state opposite to relative. Let's take look at Immortality: a mortal person was stabbed and died and an immortal one was stabbed by Mortal Blade and died. What was the sense of this kind of Immortality if they both have died after all?
This way, we conclude this Immortality which was negated was relative. The immortal was relatively immortal and therefore could be killed. Essentially, if we understand by absolute as total supremacy, that means two opposing absolute powers cannot co-exist together along. If by Absolute Immortality we mean the life that cannot be ended by any means, then not only Absolute Death Inducement cannot exist but Meta Power Opposition and even Omnipotence is no longer there. Because if absolute immortality can be opposed (MPO) or killed (Omnipotence), then it was relative. In this sense, any absolute power would be a specialised version of Omnipotence itself and not only that, its opposite couldn't be there because two absolutes just cancel each other out.
So, the only true absolute power is Omnipotence because there's no way this power couldn't work at some case rendering it relative at some point. This way, this wiki functions with the first definition and it was officially confirmed by Nekron. So, if you question yourself which absolute power is stronger, then know opposing absolutes may overpower each other. That may express as one is naturally more powerful than the other one (ex.: Absolute Immortality vs ADI), undetermined (Absolute Attack vs Absolute Defence) or one absolute may overpower another one by some circumstances or by your will as the author. That means there is no final answer and nobody can truly tell you how their conflict would end. Since absolutes are specific points, some absolute may be more powerful than the other and two equal powers (absolutes are measurable), then they may overpower each other. That's my final and ultimate explaination and by it I proclaim:
If there are two absolute abilities that confronts each other, they both can be victorious and results become independent from sheer force along.
You can use this statement as making a draw, win by extra factors or define result specifically for each time depending on your intentions as the author.
